Our customers bring enquiries of all shapes and sizes. Some projects are fully developed whilst others are still forming in the imagination of the designer. Some customers will provide fully dimensioned drawings and others will sketch out the idea during a meeting. Either way we will always aim to fill in the gaps where we are needed.
Our input can improve the manufacturing speed, durability, cost and even the appearance of a product. We will always try to understand our customers goals and plans for an item. This will allow us to value engineer the product to get the most from the design.
K2 try to "step outside the nine dots" when looking at a customers enquiry. Although our roots are firmly in acrylic fabrication we will often use a wide variety of materials such as woods, metals and foams in conjunction with acrylic in order to achieve the result.
The retail industry has always worked to tight deadlines and we are used to the pressure. Occasionally a project will have enough time for adequate design, development, tooling and testing but in the real world this is rarely the case. Our shift system and supplier network allows us to react to some of the toughest demands in industry whilst still ensuring that the last of a batch is to the same high quality of the first.
